How to Join
Membership in DAR is open to any woman 18 years or older who can prove her lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. Documentation must be provided for each statement of birth, marriage, and death, as well as of the Revolutionary War service of her Patriot ancestor.
KSDAR’s volunteer genealogists and registrars throughout the state can provide guidance and assistance with research and completing the membership application. You will have support and guidance throughout the process.
Membership is offered through a chapter or as a Member-At-Large.
